Meeting Notices


The Employee Pension Committee of the City of Shelbyville will meet in regular session on Monday, March 4th at 2:00 PM at the City Hall Conference Room, 201 N Spring Street.

A full Agenda will be posted on the City’s website 48 hours prior to the meeting. 

The city council will meet March 5th for a study session at 6pm in the council chambers located 100 N Canon Blvd.

General Notices

Property Taxes

The deadline to pay 2023 City Property Taxes without penalty/interest is Thursday, February 29th.

City Hall is located on the Public Square at 201 N. Spring Street.  We are open M-F, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

The Shelbyville City Hall drive-thru window will be open on Saturday, February 24th from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon in order to accept property tax payments only.  The drive-thru is located on the W. Holland side of City Hall.

Notices Regarding City Meetings

We were notified yesterday that the Shelbyville Times Gazette office will be closed, effective immediately, until August 1st.  During this time, please refer to the Shelbyville City website at for a list of all upcoming City Meetings.  Full Agendas will be published on the website as well as all other official City of Shelbyville social media at least 48 hours prior to the meetings.  The meeting notices will also be posted on the Community Notice Boards at Shelbyville City Hall & the Shelbyville Post Office.
